Dec 5, 2016 - The device is not compatible with this graphics card driver. My second monitor is attached via a Fresco Logic FL2000 USB 3.0 display adaptor. After visiting their.
The LinkS SuperSpeed USB VGA adapter worked great. I plugged it into my new monitor and downloaded the driver from the website that is mentioned in the product description (laptop doesnt have a cd drive) and I was up and running in about 5 minutes. Then my laptop decided to upgrade to Windows 10. Now my setup was 2 x 24 inch widescreen monitors connected to my laptop.
One was connected through HDMI and the other through USB 3.0. Post windows 10 update, the monitor with the LinkS VGA adapter went blank.
The description clearly says that this adapter does not support windows 10. Off I go back to amazon browsing for something that is compatible and I notice that there are a few around that look exactly the same as this one except with different branding. I've seen this before for random things such as backup power packs for cell phones where its the same exact item probably made in the same factory in china and just rebranded a dozen times.
On a hunch, I searched around for usb to vga adapters that look the same and also where their descriptions said they were windows 10 compliant and found a few. I downloaded the drivers for eBerry USB to VGA adapter which are 'eBerry.FLUSBVGA-1.1.316.0', uninstalled the LinkS drivers and installed the eBerry drivers and to my somewhat shock, it actually worked!
Download descarca vrajitorul din oz pdf. Further investigation in Device Manager shows that both drivers are actually 'Fresco Logic FL2000 USB Display Adapter' but just different versions (I'm using version 1.1.316.0 at the moment in Windows 10). Wouldn't be surprised if some of the other devices that look the same also have the same drivers. So there you have it. The vga adapter is compatible with windows 10 after all.
You'll notice a slight difference / jitter with this adapter when compared to HDMI but I guess that is to be expected. Reduced 1 star for making me go through all this effort. Working awesome so far. I use it at work, going through a USB hub to an external monitor through VGA. Laptop is main display and this connects the secondary monitor through a hub (the amazon one). Now I only have to plug in one cable when I come in. I'm running Windows 10.
